Whooping cough vaccines availability update
GSK prioritises whooping cough vaccine availability for those most at risk of the disease and confirms uninterrupted supply of Boostrix® and Boostrix® IPV to all Australian State, Territory and Federal Government vaccination programs where Boostrix/Boostrix-IPV is the vaccine of choice.
BOOSTRIX®-IPV is a combined diphtheria-tetanus-acellular pertussis and polio virus vaccine used as a booster in adults and children 4-years and older.
GSK is prioritising supply of Boostrix-IPV to the Federal Goverment No Jab No PayProgram and any remaining stock (limited amount) will be made available to the private market.
