Supply of Varilrix® and Priorix-Tetra®

GSK recently identified a global manufacturing issue relating to some of our varicella-containing vaccines which has resulted in temporary disruptions to supply of Varilrix® and Priorix-Tetra^®.

Varilrix® is used to prevent chicken pox (Varicella) and Priorix-Tetra^® for the prevention of chicken pox as well as measles, mumps and rubella.

GSK is committed to ensuring the highest quality and supply of our medicines and vaccines to patients. Stock currently on the market is not affected and can continue to be used.

We are working closely with relevant State and Federal Governments in Australia to manage existing supplies and minimise the impact of this disruption.
