GSK Australia wins Great Place To Work® Certification

GSK Australia has been formally recognised as a Great Place to Work®, winning the accreditation after a survey of more than 300 employees across the country.

The anonymous poll – known as the Trust Index™ Employee Survey – asked respondents to consider company values, work-life balance, manager trust and workplace benefits.

It revealed GSK strongly outperformed other Australian companies across all sectors when it comes to company culture, team camaraderie and the experience of new employees.

In addition, an overwhelming majority considered their work to have meaning and purpose, with more than 80% enjoying strong relationships with co-workers, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Well over 90% of respondents felt that all staff are treated fairly regardless of sexual orientation, race or gender.

GSK Australia General Manager and Vice President Andrew Thomas said he was “delighted but not surprised” by the formal recognition, with the company dedicated to ensuring all employees have the chance to thrive.

“We know GSK Australia a ‘Great Place to Work’ and this new certification reflects the ambition and efforts of all teams to ensure our workplace is one where everyone is valued, supported, and empowered to perform at their best. When we succeed together, we can deliver on our promise to be ambitious for patients.”

And GSK ANZ Human Resources Director David Fitz-Gerald said the latest accolade follows the company’s 2024 WELL accreditation – recognising the Australian headquarters as positively impacting employee health and wellbeing.
