As you might expect, the recruitment process is rigorous, but you should always bear in mind that the process is as much for you as it is us. Make the most of the application process to find out if we are the right company for you.

Application tips

  • Apply well in advance of the deadline – don’t wait until the last minute!
  • Complete your application form carefully. Don’t rush, review your grammar and spelling and provide details by making full use of the word count. This is your first opportunity to demonstrate your motivation and skills and make a good impression.
  • Research GSK before applying to determine if we are the right company for you. 
  • Think about how you can add value to the program you’re applying to as well as to GSK as a whole.

Application Form - Simply upload a copy of your cover letter and CV to our application portal and answer a few eligibiligy questions - it won’t take you long to complete.

World of GSK - If you meet our eligibility criteria, we’ll invite you to complete our World of GSK online assessment. This will help us determine your strengths and suitability to become one of our interns – while giving you a fascinating insight into what we do and how we work. You’ll watch videos featuring some of our colleagues who will tell you about what they do at GSK. We’ll then set up scenarios – and ask you how you would manage the situation. Don’t worry, you don’t need any knowledge of GSK, or the healthcare sector to succeed at this stage of the application – or at any stage.

Video Interview - Make it through to the next stage and we’ll invite you to a video interview were we will ask you more about why you want to work here and join the program.

Assessment Centre - If you progress to our Assessment Centre, congratulations. You’re through to our final stage. This is your chance to get even more of an insight into what it’s like to work at a world-leading healthcare organisation.

You’ll spend half a day taking part in immersive exercises. These will include individual exercises, a group exercise and a strengths-based interview. You’ll receive more information in your Assessment Centre invite. We’ve designed the Assessment Centre to bring out the best in you, so we can see what you’re capable of and we can show you why we’re such an exceptional place to work.
